We made little chicks out of half a twinkie, some gummy slices and icing. They got to sit in a sweet crispie treat nest. Fun to make and yummy to eat.
Our church had an Easter egg hunt on Saturday. It was windy, cold and looked like it might rain. The rain held off and we were able to enjoy some of the fun games and food. Lauren and most of the other kiddos were even willing to enjoy a frozen treat.
The egg hunt included 10,000 eggs. The weather put a slight damper on attendance so there were many eggs to be found. The little kids got to hunt in one section, while the olders had their own more difficult hunt. This was Caleb's first egg hunt and he at first wasn't quite sure what to do or why. Aaron, as a good big brother, showed him how and then let him in on the fact that the eggs were filled with candy. He was then a very enthusiastic egg hunter.
They also had a drawing for a new bike, and our friends son won. Ken enjoyed testing it out with Aaron and Caleb.
