We interrupt our back dated posting, to bring you current time news. Caleb has a "boo boo" as he calls it. He has always been quite interested in his and others "boo boos", and now he has one that beats all the others. He dislocated his left elbow, called a nurse maid elbow. Apparently rather common, his pediatrician says she sees several a week. But this was our first kiddo to end up with x-rays, a visit to an orthopedist and a casted sling. The sling will be on for a few days to keep the elbow immobile and let the swelling tendon go down. Then he'll be good as new.
For now he looks quite pitiful.
Though the teddy bear sling is cute and he's not sure whether he likes it or is annoyed by it.
Lauren made this nice little "bed" for him to watch some movies while he tried to stay still.
He enjoyed the extra TLC, but the being still part was hard to maintain.
